This is to tell yall about the long awaited first video in that how to section yall have been peaking at. Welcome to the bonus blog about balsamic glaze. If you haven't already please go check it out before you leave the site. The video show how to make a caprese salad. In said video I used store bought Balsamic, but here's where I share how to make your own.
So the first video I tried to make was a crash and burn. I used my cellphone to record it and the dang thing was like 20 minutes long and refuses to transfer anywhere; at least that's what my IT tells me. I think it saw how much editing needed to be done and gave up on life.
This is a huge jump for me and the stage freight might be showing but I'm stepping out of my comfort zone this year to make the rest of my dreams come true. Now that we got the first one out maybe I'll be better prepared for the pasta making videos.
Balsamic glaze isn't hard to make but it's easy to mess up. Let me explain your basically carmalizing the balsamic vinegar that already is very potent flavor so if reduced to much will become bitter and not taste good; which also makes it hard to clean the sauce pan you use. So boil the pan when your done so it came be cleaned easier.
The ingredients are good Balsamic vinegar normally from Modera and brown sugar for the extra burst of flavor it brings; you can use regular sugar if you want. For ever cup of vinegar you need a quarter cup of your sugar of choice. Bring it to a boil to dissolve the sugar then reduce to a simmer until the sauce is napae or coats the back of a spoon.
Thank yall for coming along for the ride. If you have any questions comments or concerns please reach out by commenting below or shoot me an email... Be Blessed!!!
