Foster puppy

So, I'm late again which seems to be the patten recently, but I digress because that a whole rabbit hole I'm not ready to go down yet. This week were fostering a puppy. She's an adorable ball of absolutely so much energy but she's a pit bull so she has the digestive system of a gnat bless her heart. Lol if you know you know. I feel like I'm becoming a nutritionist quickly so I'm going to take you on the journey with me. Today's discovery is going to have to be brief because I have 10 to clock in for work.

So pumpkin puree is supposably gut bacteria’s best friend in dogs. I'm not sure about humans I'm going to have to do more research. I have horrible gut health so I'm going to check it out for myself as well. Chicken is really soothing to their tummies because it's protein without a huge amount of fat. Brown rice because it absorbs the waste and rice has carbs to keep the dog full. It's something to think about as a human diet as well. You have got to think the continent of Asia basically lives on rice because it's nutrition and easy for Asian communities to grow.

This one turned out later than I thought. I started writing this a week ago but with dime the dog and doctors’ appointments it’s hard to get everything accomplished. We’re all getting used to each other and Alex and I are processing the lack of sleep that comes with taking that cute puppy outside every 3 hours. She thinks she's much smaller than she is so super clumsy. I'll post a picture of her on the Facebook page so yall can see her adorable face.
